Vacature Product Specialist | Benelux

Because of expansion, Apem Benelux is looking for an Inside Sales Product Specialist for IDEC Automation products and offering a customer support to all Apem Benelux customers in an internal role. Based in the APEM Benelux office in Zaventem, he/she will support the account managers and the distribution network of the Benelux area.

In his/her role as a Product Sales Specialist, through product trainings the candidate will take care of customer requests, quote and support the account managers on a range of IDEC automation products. A regular contact with the Global Product Managers for each of the product lines ensures all necessary support. He/she will actively promote the IDEC business and push the complete IDEC product range forward.

In his/her Customer Service role he/she will handle requests coming from customers for all APEM and IDEC products and work in close collaboration with the Account Managers. Depending on the type of customer, he/she will take care of responding to customer questions, quote projects and do a regular follow-up on open opportunities for the defined customer database. When interesting, he/she will arrange an appointment for the account managers to visit the customer.

A technical support with the account managers at the customers’ premises to define the right technical solution against every request may also apply.

The product specialist will regularly perform product trainings at the distributors’ offices and inform them through product launches on the latest product releases.

Marketing actions such as a local exhibition support and order related administration is a part of his/her role.
